ABOUT ME

I am environmental scientist with field of interests covering all related to entomology, biodiversity and behavioral and population ecology.
I enjoy being outdoors, exploring, searching for adventures and all related. I do rock climbing, but not as much as I'd like to. Last autumn I took up a new sport - paragliding. I'm also a passionate cyclist (I have 4 bikes, including 1 tandem bike in my parent's home :) I like big cities, but cannot live without wilderness.
I am outgoing: would never refuse wine, or beer or... But be careful - i stay until the end!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

The more I travel, the more I realize that it's not just landscapes that attract me in each new country, but it's the people I meet on the way and the stories I hear from them. Therefore I think that couchsurfing is a great idea, that actually does work. It's not just and idea - it's a living community, a great experience and beyond that.

The music i listen to is quite hard to describe as it ranges widely. At the moment I mostly have electronica/minimal/ambient/trip-hop/post-rock on my playlist. But I really like all kinds of music! I'm always interested to share or exchange some of it.

I have finished ecology, i'm especially interested in insects, so i will always spot and show something interesting :)
I can teach you climbing basics, outdoor survival tips or help you fix your bike.
