Hello, and welcome to my profile :)

My name is Milena and I am just entering my travel era. Originally, I am from a small village in Germany, but over the last 1.5 years, I've been living in Sydney, Aus, where I did my master's in event management. Now that I've graduated I try to enjoy my time as much as possible before I have to officially step into adulthood and get started with my career.

Even though I'm quite an introvert, I love meeting new people and am grateful for everything they are willing to share with me (from their favourite dish to their view on life).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had so many amazing experiences travelling through Europe in 2022 where I've met many people and learned a lot about them, their country, what inspires them, and so much more! I want to keep making those connections to learn more about people and also share my stories and experiences with others.

Interests

My two favorite things in the world are travelling the world while meeting inspiring people and discover the most beautiful places (that's why I'm couchsurfing), and going to concerts. Seeing my favorite artists live has changed me as a person, and I think back to those moments everyday. I always have a next concert planned as it makes me genuine happy to look forward to those moments. I am a big fangirl (I'm not ashamed to say it anymore), so I spend probably too much time on twitter and insta to interact with other fangirls and to speculate over new releases and more.

Other then that I enjoy reading books especially those stories where you just loose yourself in immediatly. I love hiking and seeing some parts of nature hidden from most people.

And I also love just drinking coffee and do some people-watching.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to all kinds of music, from Broadway hits to Rock bangers, I love them all. But my heart definitely beats the most for pop and indie-rock nowadays and I have a *small* obsession with Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson (don't ask me about it, if you don't want me to talk about it for hours!). But some other artists that I admire at the moment are 5 Seconds of Summer, Only The Poets, Fletcher, Taylor Swift, and Noah Kahan.

I am not as much into books at the moment, but when I'm reading it's mostly young adult romances or something with crime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did my first solo-backpacking trip through Europe in 2022.

In 2023 I moved to Australia to study without knowing anyone here. It's been the most amazing experience so far as so many dreams came true and I truly see myself growing on so many levels every day.
