I am Swiss, living in Kreuzlingen, close to the boarder to Germany and working as a teacher in secondary education.

I love travelling, music, literature, cooking and a little bit of sport from time to time. I`m looking forward to meet new people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I‘d like to have company when I‘m home, meet new people, get to know different cultures and be able to afford longer trips.
I think couch surfing is a good opportunity to get an insight into the local living and the culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: I really like rock from the seventies, but also listen to funk, soul, jazz, electro and sometimes some classical music. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, so feel free to show me new tunes.

movies: one of my favorite movies is Fantasia, I think that movie is a real piece of art.

books: Some of my favorite authors are: Daniel Kehlmann, Frank Schätzing, Robert Musil, Rafik Schami, Walter Moers and Georg Büchner. When I have a little more time I try to understand for example Kafka, Nietzsche, Kant or Schopenhauer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year one two days before christmas I decided to fly to Mexico the next day to visit some friends. The spontaneity made my time there so great and I‘ve learned from this experience that you shouldn‘t plan too much, because sometimes the unexpected things are the most amazing ones.
