Olá! Im Milena Sophie, 23 years old, born in Germany but living since 6 years in beautiful Portugal... I came to Portugal (Coimbra) to study portuguese but then fell in love with the country and it's beautiful people - and simply decided to stay for my bachelor's degree which brought me to boa Lisboa.
So by now i'd rather consider me portuguese than german, or actually just cidadã do mundo - 'citizen of the world' like we all are in the end.

Already made great experiences couch surfing here in Portugal but also some years ago in Ireland, Scotland and Spain. Just the best way of travelling; you get to know the place you visit in a unique way (through the eyes of someone who lives&loves the place in a everyday way) and as an extra you can also make great friends. My last couch surfing accounts (with quite a few references) was taken over by my sister who I used to travel with but since she is traveling the USA by van she needs it a bit more then me so I just decided to create a new and fresh one for starting a new couchsurfing life!

Arts, people (which is basically why I study anthropology ;) documentary filming, traveling, traveling, traveling... enjoying a glass (or two, or three) of red wine, working on my little jewelry business, going to second hand markets, shopping second hand clothes, talking to people of all ages and cultures. Being creative. Going to portuguese fresh food markets. Drink galao (portuguese milk coffee) and enjoy the sun whenever she appears. Becoming a surfer and dancing kuduro and afro-house.

The Harry Potter books without doubts, i love Beirut and basically all kind of world-music ... also into techno once in a while, but as long as it's danceable i love every kind of music. Movies...difficult question since there are so many good movies out there.

Bought my beloved Campervan called 'Duke Guenther' together with my best friends in 2011. We did a 4 months euro-trip through england, ireland, france, spain and portugal. Just amazing! Now the van is with me here in Portugal and in the summer (so basically from april on) we will hit the road again as often as possible.
