About Me

Hi there,
I'm Milena! When you go through my profile, I'm probably looking for a place to stay, while I'm on my adventure. Of course, you'd like to know, what kind of person is gonna stay with you, that's what I'm gonna tell you now. So I'm from Germany, I graduated from Highschool last year and then started my year as an Au Pair in Boston. Now I'm done with that and I've got one month to travel all over the United States. I'm open for everything, uncomplicated and I like talking to people. Couchsurfing is a new thing for me and I'd really like to try it out. I really don't need much, something I can sleep on, or even two trees, where I can put my hammock on, is fine. I hope I get to know as many people as possible and this will be a great experience for me and I'll continue to use it, when I'm back in Europe. A bit more about me: I love nature and hiking and just being outside. A few years ago I tried surfing, so I hope I get the chance to do that again! I love morning runs, good food and just realxed vibes. That's what I want from this vacation: relaxing! I've been working the entire year for a family with five kids, so now I'm ready for vacation. Hope I didn't scare you and youre happy to let me stay with you. Thanks for reading all of that. See you soon, Milena

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have a specific kind of music I'm listening to.
I like all kinds of things, like Rap, RnB, but I also love the Red Hot Chili Peppers and some Pop songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I mean, what is amazing? Should I tell you, that I've saved the world? Or that I'm so amazing, because I did this and that? I don't think I've done something super amazing so far, but whatever. The reason of this question is, that you get to know more about me, so I'm just gonna tell you some things I did (you can decide, if they're amazing or not). I decided to stay one year with a five-kids-family away from home and I totally regret it, well not totally, but I think I wouldn't do it again. I participated in a Poetry Slam and wrote a text about my grandpa, who was really happy about it ( that might be the most amazing thing I've done). And I'm always there for people, for friends, for my family and this year was the first time in my life I couldn't do that, so maybe the last couple of years, being there for people?

Teach, Learn, Share

Throughout this year I taught a thirteen year old girl German, so I'm always happy to teach new people my native language, or maybe just some crazy german words or drinking songs?!
