About Me

Parallel to my degree in Economic History (MA) I was heavily involved in theatrical projects, primarily with Theatre Paradok at The University of Edinburgh [http://paradok.co.uk/] where I took on different administrative committee positions. I have taken on roles in theatre productions ranging from directing, producing, set designing, light designing and performing. I started up with friends at University a collective in Edinburgh called Sunday Adventure Club. It is a fortnightly Sunday event in which we go out on offbeat locations in Edinburgh.

After graduating I directed my own show [BANKNOTE] that explored the themes of my dissertation on Scottish banknote design and security in the late Nineteenth-Century. For the past year I have worked on a collaborative art project that is still ongoing [Bat Band/ The Neighbours are Bats]. The project was supported and aided by The Bat Conservation Trust and was exhibited for Glasgow Open House and Hidden Doors Festival in Edinburgh. I have been volunteering with the Real Junk Food Project, the project aims to raise awareness of food waste and work as an outreach to those in the community who are in food poverty.

I currently work at a Boutique in Edinburgh called Dragonfly Gifts, it's lovely working in a place where people come in wanting to buy gifts for loved ones.

I currently live with my partner Alex in Edinburgh. Alex works for a catering company, Cafe Crepes, that predominantly caters for festival events; Edinburgh Christmas Market, Cardiff Christmas Market, Brighton Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe. We both enjoy hiking, cycling and exploring new places
