I'm Miles, I live in Stockholm and work as an English and Spanish teacher in primary and secondary schools. I was born in London to a Chilean-Argentine mother and a British father, I moved to Argentina with my mother and sister in 2004 and have lived in Buenos Aires until late 2019. I'm currently also finishing my degree in Literature at the University of Buenos Aires I speak English, Spanish and Swedish fluently, I can get by with my French, Italian and Norwegian. I love reading, taking pictures, writing, drinking beer, dancing, meeting new people, buying books, going to museums, hiking, cooking and walking the streets of a new city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I love travelling all over the world and meeting new people while doing it. I think the experience of staying at a local's home is part of the trip! I have recently moved into a bigger apartment and look forward to also host people at my place!

I love reading in general, and it's difficult to choose books or authors in particular, but you can borrow a book from my bookshelf and find out what I like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when I was in Rio de Janeiro, I went to Sao Conrado Mountain, and jumped off the cliff... hang-gliding! I flew over Rio for half an hour, and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had.
I've read the Harry Potter series like 10 times.
I got lost in a Vietnamese cemetery for an hour.
