Couchsurfing was highly recommended to me by the friends I've met, to really immerse myself in different cultures. I was told that it was also a great way to meet new people, and for these reasons I decided to give it a try.

I've hiked Mount Rainier in Washington with a backpack and Skis, and skied down. The trip took two days and around 13 hours of hiking. The elevation gain was around 2 miles (3.2 km) and ended at around 3 miles above sea level (4.4km). This was the hardest physical task I've ever completed.
