About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The world is my oyster, and damn, some oysters on the half shell are what I am looking for. I am a ski bum in Alaska, only I want to expand my ski-bum-dom (like kingdom?) as far around the world as possible.
ABOUT ME
I am very outgoing and can be pretty outspoken, but I try to follow the 'kill them with kindness' motto. Sass oozes out of my pores. Jack Johnson is boring and makes me want coffee. If you want to know more, message me! I don't want to make you pass out from boredom.
PHILOSOPHY
This is a hard question for me to answer, as I am in a stage of transition. Is it to live life as I desire, absent of material security? Or is it to live life under traditional societal demands, absent of spiritual tranquility? Either way, I approach every moment with everlasting optimism. The best way to obtain happiness is to spread happiness.

Music, Movies, and Books
HOLY COW SO MANY. Here are a few of each that pop to the top-- Movies: The Darjeeling Limited, Star Wars (the originals), Solitaire, MicMacs. Books: Catch 22, Heart of Darkness, Crime and Punishment, Power of One. Music: I LOVE HIP-HOP
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visited Robben Island in South Africa where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 20+ years, and yet he became the President of South Africa pushing for reconciliation in the post-apartheid country. On that trip, I also went through the apartheid museum in Johannesburg. It put things into perspective how good we have it, and it struck me how people like Steve Biko were able to fight such a system with peace activism and promoting education rather than violence.
Teach, Learn, Share
Skills that I can share with someone could include anything relating to camping, hiking, backpacking, longboarding, skiing, lil' bit of cooking, soccer, soccer, soccer, political science (global/national/state), local stuff, music, and I love to talk about anything!I would love to learn more about photography/photo editing, other languages (spanish, portuguese, italian, anything!), bike maintenance, local traditions/culture/food/music!
