We have been friends for a long time now and grew up together in Hamburg. Our studies have driven both of us to Berlin these days. Mileva (23) studies psychology and Laura (25) in enrolled as a Master student in urban ecosystem science. What really connects us is your lifestyle. We are both really interested in current topics on sustainability, feminism and good food. This summer we decided to go on a trip with us and our backpacks. To avoid emissions as much as we can we decided to only travel by bus, train and ferry.
For our trip we want to make a stop in Helsinki and Tallinn. Especially for the city we are interested in open minded people that are willing to share their homes with us for one or two nights. Even if you do not live within a city we are very interested on your thoughts our tips for us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because we love getting a little insight in a foreign culture and discovering new cities and countries. Meeting and talking to locals is a really good way to do that.
Also we just simply like the idea of sharing accommodation and the opportunities to learn something new, and share stories.

Interests

we always think its hard to name interests. There are so many different things and it always depends on the situation.

Mileva likes for example the moment when a person opens up to me and talks about what is really going on with them. It sounds a bit weird but in a way that's also the thing I will probably do when working as psychologist later ;)
Laura likes to be creative in very different ways. Nature is a greate inspiration and will hopefully lead to a few beatiful drawn postcards.

We love food, mostly vegan but with a weakness for cheese, and trying different recipes from all over the world. Experiencing the taste is a important part of getting to now a new culture.

Being outside walking, hiking stuff like that just beeing in nature is important and brings us together on this journey. So we can spent as much time outside as we can.
