ABOUT ME

I am in my late 30s and I look forward to seeing more from the world.
I am an easygoing person. I love traveling, getting to know the cultures where I go.
Few years ago I decided to explore deeper dimensions on life. I teach Classical Hatha Yoga full time. I left the comforts of having a well-paid job to invest all my energy, essence and love into sharing tools for inner transformation.
So far I have been blessed with the opportunity to live in Canada, France, India and Colombia. Great experiences!
Even though traveling doesn´t feel like an urge anymore, travel bug remains inside me. Now I travel for Yoga! The world is so vast and has so many things to teach us that traveling will always be one of my biggest passions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot host as I don't have a place on my own at the moment. Nevertheless I can take people out for a drink or whatever they want to do in my hometown (Bogotá). I am sure we can manage to have great fun together :)

If I travel I would like to be hosted in places where I feel safe and appreciated. Same way I would received them at home. I love cooking and enjoy giving love to people through food.

Either hosting or surfing, I am happy to share simple yoga practices and stories I have collected over my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first contact with Couchsurfing was in France in 2011 and it was wonderful experience.
Even though I haven´t hosted anyone from Couchsurfing yet, I have had lots of friends of friends staying at my place. I have always enjoyed showing them around and even if they do not stay at my place, I am always up for "coffee" (I am a Colombian with high sensitivity to caffeine), outdoor activities and why not dancing until sun comes up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if these things are amazing to others but they were/are to me.
- crossed Canada by car in 48 hours. We left Vancouver on a Friday morning and got to Montreal two days later. ;)
- hiked an active volcano in Guatemala
- went horseback riding in 'La Pampa Argentina'.
- lived in India with 10hr and a half difference from family and friends. To me that has been amazing but tough.
- rode up to 15700 ft the Top of the World: The Himalayas on a bullet - Royal Enfield

Teach, Learn, Share

All the things you do in life with a honest heart are the best things you will ever do.
Travel as light as you can. A headlamp is always a great tool to have.
