About Me
Hi! My name is Milagros (but everyone calls me Mili) and I'm 27 years old. When I finished high school, I studied Tourism and Hotel Management because I wanted a career that would allow me to live and work around the world which is exactly what I'm doing. Since I graduated I have lived in the Canary Islands, Ireland, and Germany and I also spent 2 months volunteering in a hostel in Italy as I wanted to improve my Italian (which I learned by myself as a hobby)
I'll be moving to Copenhagen soon, so I'm looking for a place to stay during my first days, but I'm also looking to meet up with locals or other expats living in the city :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I heard about this platform, I immediately wanted to try it, but I didn't have any trips planned at that moment, so I used it to hang out with a group of Couchsurfers in my city (Buenos Aires). We went to the famous Recoleta Cemetery and we grabbed a coffee afterwards. It was a really positive experience that encouraged me to use the platform for accommodation in Edinburgh a year later when I travelled with a friend . Again, I had a really positive cultural exchange and our host was very kind. I think that Couchsurfing is still one of the best ways to meet up with locals and learn about other cultures, languages, ways of living, etc.

Books: Harry Potter, Tokio Blues, Mi planta de naranja lima, Heima es hogar en islandés. I'm currently reading Murder in the Orient Express :)
Movies: Harry Potter, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably traveling solo. Sounds simple, but I was so scared of doing it and I ended up loving it and meeting so many nice people :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Travel stories, a good laugh, deep chats, a coffee/ beer, language exchange, travel advice, and maybe a meal? I'm not really good at cooking but I can try!
Also, if we go exploring the city together I can take good photos of you (I'm that patient friend that will take a million photos from different angles until you say I LOVE THIS ONE lol)
