Overview
About Me
Travelling to me is discovering the thousand colour in the grains of white sand, tasting the origin of a new flavor, seeing the new scale of sky at an ocean shore or top of a mountain, biting to the specs of dust in the wind, dreaming of the things that I would never have imagined to do, getting used to things I never tried before, opening my heart and my front door to new people and their stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couch surfing...
....alread years ago, when I travelled a lot in Europe during my studies but never ended up arranging official couchsurfing on those trips for some reason but enjoyed many unexpercted and wonderful encounters with locals and travelles everywhere. Those are te most memorable bits of all my travels, and the reason i initoally joined this community.
Last years I have travelled...
...little, because living the last 5 years in Berlin and Amsterdam in temporare solution, my travelling had focuced mostly on commuting between the Netherlands and Germany and ofcourse flights to my birth home in Finland.
Now I have settled in Amsterdam so I'm again able to pursue my dream of travelling the rest of the world as well as opening my home to others who would like to stay in a finnish-Dutch household and get a taste of the local amsterdam in the chillest neighbourhood of the town and have an impression of our (me and my dutch boufriend Jurre) own domestic European Union.
What we can offer at couchsurfing...
...is a super cozy guestroom in our beautiful and light old amsterdam rowhouse with windows with the top floor view to a cute quiet street in amsterdam west, amazing food cooked by Jurre (unless he's not there then I'll do my best), a walk to our vegetable garden, chillig at the food halle, borrow my bike, glass of wine or a cup of tea with talks and sharing of experiencs, company and privacy as you like, what you need or are into I'll help to provide that :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen a shark while snorkling in Australia at the Whit Sunday Islands.
I've rafted down a river in boat full with old drunken Serbian men after drinking their homemade rakia with them the whole night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my stories and world views and theories of the universe. Always want to learn everything especially lessons about people in form of stories and experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Home cooking, glass of wine or tea over a conversation, a walk to our vegetable garden or around the neighbourhood, company or privacy as pleased, help with anything necessary...
