ABOUT ME

I am once again in transition. I have been living in Chicagoland for the past 2 years, and it was ok, but I would really like to live in a warmer climate, with a more condensed nightlife. Somewhere where I can go out and enjoy nature year round. I am super excited to be moving to Austin TX.

PHILOSOPHY

I can be as selfish as I want as long as it does not effect other people. This does not mean that I am totally self absorbed, just that my personal philosophy allows me to be as long as I am kind to others. (Might not make the most sense to other, but it is fine for me.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted once, and it was fun, but mostly all have done is surf. It seems like hosting would be awesome, but for the pure fact that everywhere I have lived so far is not the destination of choice I have not had much opportunity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have stayed at a good number of places, but i have not really done much hosting. Surfing was fun and I am sure I will love hosting as well.

I am a cross between a nerd and a athlete. I will do nerdy things like read manga and play DnD when with nerdy people, or play soccer, ski, hike, kayak, bike, or go dancing when with a more athletic group of people.

I read a lot, mostly fantasy and syfy.

Now that I am moving to Austin I better start learning a bit more about the music culture because right now I am far behind.

When about 3 years ago I took a 3 month bike ride down the east coast. It was a great experience and i met a lot of great people (a good majority from CS). During this trip there was a very cool bit of road that was surrounded by a saltwater lagoon. It was very long strait road leading out to an island on the coast. If you did not look at the road, but at at the horizon you almost felt like you were riding across the water. It was very cool.
