About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have love, Will travel

ABOUT ME

I'm real lanky and I have a thing for malted milkshakes and whispered conversations. I just graduated from San Francisco State with a degree in Middle Eastern History and now I'm kind of just floating around in post-college limbo. Let's hang out already!

PHILOSOPHY

"If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

With an open mind and lots of snacks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bebopped through eastern Europe and the Balkans sleeping almost exclusively on couches and floors with my partner crime, Robyn Kick. We met the most amazing people, had an incredible time, and learned so much about ourselves and the world. Couchsurfing is the way of the future.

Interests

I spend most of my time; riding my bike all over San Francisco, studying Arabic, adventuring with my friends, and reading everything and anything I can get my grubby little paws on. I love long lazy days in the sun, hand writing letters, nibblin' foods, poetry, late night american style diners and dancing to trashy pop music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Electric Light Orchestra
Books - My current favorite is "Season of Migration to the North" by Tayeb Salih
Movies- Woody Allen, forever and always, amen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Looking out over the Bosphorus from a friend's roof in Istanbul. It was a warm night, and because of a (random) high school graduation there were fireworks and balloons flying through the air. We had tequila in our bellies and big smiles on our faces. Something I would have never experienced without participating in the Couch Surfing Program.

2. Surviving the servicee ride from Khalil to Ramallah through Wadi Nar. I've never been so close to death.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Mexico, Serbia, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Palestine, United States
