About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling all over Europe for as long as I can to learn and be open to what's in store next...

ABOUT ME

Oh bother, I'm not sure what my friends would say about me. Probably nothing especially linear. A string of words that sound, look pretty next to each other. Is that a good explanation?

PHILOSOPHY

"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies —God damn it, you've got to be kind."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling all over Europe for the first time. Hoping to get involved in many ways.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None whatsoever, I'm new.

Interests

Nature~Animals, working with my hands, reading and drawing comics, watching mind-expanding breath-shortening dark-wry cinema. I like visceral experiences, aesthetics, trying to understand philosophy and live by it (honesty). BIKRAM YOGA!

Music, Movies, and Books

Kurt Vonnegut & Milan Kundera are favorites. Otherwise: Anna Karenina, Orlando, and The Master and Margarita. Zulawski, Werner Herzog, Errol Morris etc.. Music and movie lists are seemingly endless.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 21 I lived in the high desert of Utah for 4 months in the winter. This had a profound effect on my life and no day goes by that I don't think about the things I saw and learned there. I literally slept in the snow! I try to live my life according to the experiences during my time in the wilderness, and contemplate going back.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can whistle four different ways. If there is a woodwind instrument I can play it (usually). I can pick my own nose with my my tongue. I love yoga and moving in general. I can knit (ok) and crochet (very well).

Countries I’ve Visited
