Hi there 👋 I’m a marketing freelancer, adventurer, and adrenaline junkie from Finland. I run my own location-independent business in marketing and web design, which allows me to work from anywhere—one of the best decisions I’ve made. And of course, I love traveling and exploring places. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's a great way to meet locals and explore new places, and I enjoy a more local experience instead of staying at a fancy resort or hotel.

I’m on Couchsurfing to connect with like-minded people, share experiences, and exchange stories. I love hearing about different cultures and perspectives, and I truly believe that the best way to experience a place is through the people who call it home.

Interests

Some of my hobbies include crossfit, snowboarding, scuba diving, and skydiving. I've recently tried surfing as well and I'd love to do more of that, too. Safe to say, I have a bunch of different hobbies and sometimes they require me to travel outside Finland (this is just a good excuse to travel more, right?). Beyond work and as a contrast to my high-energy hobbies, I love getting lost in a good book and knitting. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite artists are Mumford and Sons, Noah Kahan, Sam Barber, Eminem, Pink Floyd, and Metallica – and a bunch of old Finnish bands. I enjoy listening to a wide variety of different music! My favorite books include the ACOTAR series, Harry Potter, and Where the Crawdads Sing. For movies, the most memorable ones for me are Interstellar, and Forrest Gump.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking my Open Water certification in Koh Tao, Thailand, added a whole new passion to my life, and one of the best scuba diving memories I have is diving inside a wreck near the coast of Koh Tao and getting my Advanced Wreck Diver certificate. That was so exciting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe you can learn something new every day and it's never too late to learn a new skill or start a new career path, if you just set your mind to it. Traveling certainly has taught me a lot.
