I'm 27 years old and work in a Respite service for people who are in crisis and have learning disabilities and mental health problems.

Currently my husband and I live with our 1 year old son and are expecting our second in September 2016 so space at home is a little tight... Therefore we may be able to welcome someone on a couch for a short stay however we tend to have lots of visitors so sometimes it's impossible.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted one couch surfer and many friends! I have met some people for a drink or a chat and it has always been super! I constantly meet people who are part of this in all sorts of places! Its like a huge family.

Unfortunately our house is always full of friends and friends of friends we host as life in London is very expensive and we try and help people out, so that hasn't left much room for CS. And just recently we have had our lovely baby boy so the house has been full of family and friends coming to visit. We are still fully booked until after christmas. When things change I will update my profile but for now we cannot host. :(

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I was lucky enough to participate in saving a man who had been electrocuted by a high voltage power cable.
Day to day making a positive difference in peoples' lives means a great deal to me, so I would say I also consider that amazing.
