About Me

I'm a sociable guy from the lovely island of Sardinia (do you know it's a wonderful place? If you don't, look for it on google! :P), I'm a freelance grants specialist and I work with no profit associations and private companies. I'm a MA graduated and I studied political sciences, but I was focused on development and urban sociology. When I was younger I was elected city councilman in my small town and I was very involved in cultural associations, I organized some events (music festivals, poetry slams, book presentations, political conference and much more). Even now I'm involved in some associations but I've less time available.
In this part of my life I'm looking to work abroad, to know new persons and to improve my english.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of cultural exchange, because I think it's the best local approach to a global world. In this age we have many tools that connect us virtually to each other, but Cs is the only one that allows us to be connected in person. In a world where walls to divide peoples are growing, Couchsurfing can be an excellent cure!

Interests

As you can see I've many interests, but in this period of my life I'm mainly focused on excursions in the middle of nature, on visits to archaeological sites, on tasting good food and good wines/craft beers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An incredible thing was when I acted in spanish in Barcelona, impersonating a Sardinian mythological character!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach everything that my experience and my knowledge allows me, I can make known the wonderful Sardinian culture and at the same time I hope to be able to learn many things from the people who i'll meet, in particular many aspects of their culture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest I like to take long talks with the hosts, cook for them, eat together, hangout together, help them if they have some needs (run errands, repair their house, etc.) and last but not least I like to bring them a gift (if it's possible traditional food from my country).
