About Me

I'm currently completing a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience, specialising in adolescent mental health. Alongside this, I teach on the BSc Psychology degrees for King's College London and the University of London. I currently live in London but love travelling and think couchsurfing is the best way to do it!

I used couchsurfing when I was 18 years old and loved it. You can't beat getting to meet new people and seeing a new place from the perspective of a local. I'm now 27 years old and I'm travelling with my little brother, Toby (20 years). We're doing a road trip around Europe and hoping to do some couchsurfing along the way!

We're both very open-minded people and enjoy learning new things. We love to cook, listen to music, explore nature, etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing's a great way to meet interesting people and do things that you wouldn't be able to do when staying in a hotel. We're trying to travel on a budget whilst being able see the places from a local's perspective.

Interests

We both love music, nature, traveling and going out to meeting interesting people.

We also like sports such as hiking, sailing, skiing/snowboarding, canoeing, scuba diving, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We interailed around Europe last summer which was amazing. We met really interesting people from all around the world and got to see some amazing things.

In Budapest we watched the sun rise over the city from the Citadella after a night out with a local that we had met that night.

In Berlin we watched the football World Cup on a huge screen at the Brandenburg gate.

We swam in the lakes in the Plitvice National Park in Croatia and in Lake Bled in Slovenia.

Scuba diving and snorkeling all over the world

Exploring cities such as New York, Berlin, Budapest, Prague, etc.

Etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

We'd love to learn almost anything and we're both currently working on improving our french and are happy to help anyone with their English!

We're also good cooks and would be happy to cook a meal for you or teach you about British cuisine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fun company; we can teach you some great card games and share interesting stories.

We're interested in a range of subjects such as art, science, psychology, history, politics, business, economics, etc. and we love to talk and debate :)
