HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't at all yet, but would love to. I love the thought of meeting people and getting to see places from the perspective of people who already live there. I haven't done any hosting, as I live in the middle of nowhere, and to be honest there is so little to do here I am not sure that people would want to visit!

Music, Movies, and Books

Bit of a geek with music - I have to admit to mostly listening to Musical Theatre stuff. I also love Jazz. Ella Fitzgerald. Frank Sinatra. The Dresden Dolls. The Eels. Alanis Morissette

Books! I love books, I read a lot. I am generally obsessive about 1 genre or author at a time - crime novels are the current obsession, but have been through lots of of Jane Austen, autobiographies, Harry Potter, Jodi Picoult, Sebastian Faulks, Torey Hayden, historical novels, Sylvia Plath, WW2 memoirs, etc etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, teach. Happy to give people a crash course in ballet or singing or how to become more flexible. Possibly not the most useful skills, but being able to do the splits is a good party trick.
