I'm moving to Austin ( : Trying to make a transition from grad school back to the real world- I've found a job but I need a place to stay close to downtown for a week or two until I can earn enough to afford a downtown Austin rent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking for someone who is kind enough to help me with the transition to Austin. I've recently found work here and have friends in Austin but I will need to be closer to the city than Bapstrop as I don't have a car.

I've been a member of couch surfing for a long time, but haven't really made good use couchsurfing yet since most of the past years I've been a full-time student or have juggled part-work with a full-time job. However, I have a friend that gave US roadtrip tours and so I often hosted travellers when I had a home in Memphis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spear fishing a half-mile off the coast of Nassau, Bahamas. A Baracuda stole our fish off the line, which turned into a pretty good story later ( :
