I love discovering new things, going to places, meeting new people, trying new sports.. It's my battery. It is something internal and as my mom would say, something I've inherited.I travel with my British boyfriend Stuart.I love words. I see stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to travel a lot more than I'm able to. That's where CS comes along. If I cannot go to the world, the world must come to me and what better way than through travellers. It's a celebration of different backgrounds and surroundings.And - also - because life is too short to skip dessert, like a lovely British gentleman told me and Hanna whilst buying ice cream in Venice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There are people and experiences that change bits and pieces in me. Couchsurfing has brought me together with incredible things. When I don't host/surf, I miss it.I've met great people through CS! I've hosted a few people now and looking forward to a lot more. I've participated on a spontaneous magic bus tour with fellow couchsurfers in Gran Canaria and surfed several couches. I've got friends and so many priceless experiences.

Interests

Dancing, photographing, geography, jewelry-making, decorating and crafts, music and culture, antropology, sociology. I work as a Management Assistant to a music company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A lot of variety. From salsa to classical music, from electro to jazz. I'll give you an example: Frank Sinatra, Alt J, Muse, Von Hertzen Brothers, Frank Turner, Balkan Beat Box, Justin Timberlake, Negramaro, Scandinavian Music Group, Ludovico Einaudi, Miike Snow, Carlos Vives, Sonora Carruseles..

Books: I like books with big pictures. Travel books, photography books. Jonathan Livingston Seagull (Richard Bach), Brida, The Witch of Portobello, Veronika Decides To Die (Paolo Coelho), Näytän hyvältä ilman paitaa (Kari Hotakainen), Maria & José (Erlend Loe).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the most amazing things for me, have something to do with water. One thing, very simple though, was snorkling somewhere near Kos when I was maybe 14. Looking down at the still water and feeling like flying above the colourful fish. I can still feel it in my stomach when I'm thinking about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been thinking about what to answer here for a long time. The problem is that I don't know you yet. Because I don't think I have anything so particular that I can mention here, so it depends on you want me to teach and share with you.Maybe you want to study Finnish? Or to make a nice avocado risotto? Or talk about social media? Or share your lifestory? There's many things I can and am willing to share, big and small. So, it all depends on you :)
