I am currently embarking on a year long backpacking trip around the world with my good friend and travel companion, Jeremy Raider (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/jeremyaaron). I have deferred from my university to take a gap year and experience the world. We have been doing work exchanges and trying to couchsurf as much as we can during our travels. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to experiencing a city and its culture through locals. Couchsurfing provides the unique opportunity not only to learn from those who live in the city, but to make amazing friendships that will last a lifetime!

I am planning to study International Studies at the University of Denver after finishing my gap year. I have a keen interest in current events and understanding the current state of the world which we live in. My goal through doing my gap year is to gain a new perspective and understanding of the world by traveling to unique places and meeting amazing people!
