About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mission searching!

ABOUT ME

Relentlessly restless
Yet peacefully calm
;)
Very open and friendly, but sometimes shy and reserved...
Simple and laid back, with a knotted ball of yarn in his head :)
Self aware - knows that he doesn't know a lot about himself...
But what he enjoys the most is the process of getting to know himself ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Oh, I have many but none that are fixed.
Actually -that's it.
Fluidity. That's my philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the Couchsurfing idea! Experiencing cities with people who live there is priceless, and so is showing your own city to people who are visiting. You discover your own city with couchsurfers, and you have a completely different perspective of other cities if you mingle with those who live there...
And even the time you get to share in the apartment is priceless- you learn so much about people...including yourself :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last experience I had was as a host a few summers ago in Belgrade. It felt really good to give back to the community...and needless to say - I also had a great time with my surfers. Unfortunately, I haven't been active here in the last few years. Life kept me busy I guess :)
I've also surfed three times and all were great thanks to my fantastic hosts (Daniel in Amsterdam, Moris in Berlin and Jordi in Barcelona)
And am looking forward to host more couchsurfers in Belgrade, or wherever I am, and hope to meet more great people during my travels!

Interests

Ouch. This is hard.
Let me see what I'm NOT interested in... sports...small talk (though sometimes it feels good :) ) ...umm if I think of anything else - I'll add it :)

Bjork, Sigur Ros, Mum, Portishead, Radiohead, Air, Zero 7, Zoot woman, Feist, Regina Spektor, Death Cab For Cutie, Anthony and the Johnsons, Helios, Bon Iver, Kings of convenience, Gotan project, Massive attack, Nouvelle vague, Moloko, Goldfrap, Gus gus, Royksopp, Beth Gibbons, Thom Yorke, Tracey Thorn...and more :)
Oh, and Bjork.

Lars Von Trier, Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders, Mathew Barney, David Lynch, Bernardo Bertolucci, Aki Kaurismäki, Pedro Almodovar ....and a few others :)

I'm not a book person, too much of ADD to be able to read a lot :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a decent cook...I think :)
Also an encyclopedia of sorts - I'm interested in all kinds of things and am full of interesting and random info! Which also makes me a good conversationalist, I guess :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, besides the general "teach, learn, share" things written above - I might also be able to bring some good home made rakija (schnapps) depending on where I'm coming from :)
And stories of course. Tons and tons of stories :)
