Hi there! My name is Milou, I'm 23 y/o, living in the South of the Netherlands. I am a busy bee. Whether it's studying, travelling, extracurricular activities or doing fun activities with friends/family. Anything! I am outgoing, easily accessible and open-minded.

I'm going to study International Marketing and Brand Management as of the 1st of August at Lund University in Sweden. I've studied and lived abroad before and as many of you probably know, its amazing! I can't wait to meet like minded people, breath in new culture, go sightseeing with you, hiking, bike riding, go out for drinks and find cozy little coffee places as am an absolute coffee addict. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and learn more about the people and place where I am staying! I haven't couch surfed before, but have stayed in multiple guest houses during my stay abroad. I love living the local life, which I did when I did voluntary work in Colombia. Some friends introduced me to CS and I can't wait to have my first CS experience!

Experiencing the real local culture in Colombia, in a city of 700,000 people who had never seen a European before. My host family, friends and random people in the city were so inclusive, warm and friendly. It's amazing to be part of something like that, to learn more about a specific culture and to meet amazing people.

- Mountain biking through the mountains with the highest palm trees in the world
- Cooking Dutch dinner for my Colombian host family
- Reaching the top of a mountain after a long hike (it's so damn satisfying every time)
