ABOUT ME

I'm half French and half Japanese. I work as a part-time English teacher but I also went back to school in 2017. After years of trying to make it as an actress (which worked ok actually for a while), I decided I wanted a career change. I was fed up with people looking at me differently just because I'm an "artist". Since I'd never been to university, I decided I wanted proper education and a degree. That's how I ended up studying for 2 years and got a bachelor's degree in 2019! I'd like to take it a step further and get a Master's degree.

I love travelling of course, I'm adventurous, open minded, and always happy to meet new people all around the world, learn about different cultures, and I'm always bugging my friends to teach me some words / sentences in their languages. I find it so cool when one can master so many languages at the same time. It's so hard because you don't always get a chance to practice.
Other than that, I also have a huge passion for animals, speaking of which, I had the chance to experience being around elephants and taking care of them for one whole month, in Thailand, in summer 2015, by volunteering in a sanctuary for elephants. It's really awful to see how abused these creatures are, despite their intelligence and their important contribution to our eco system. I hate it when people are disrespectful to our planet.

I don't have a couch to offer as i live in a tiny appartment, but always happy to get coffee and show around if needed!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed at people's houses more than i hosted them(not that i wouldn't enjoy doing it more if i had more space to do it...), and I go to meetings as much as i can as i travel alone a lot. It's fun and my greatest expériences as a traveller happened within couchsurfing.

Interessen

I love to go to the movies, listen to music, dance, play the piano, saxophone, or other instruments, and I'm really keen on diving, I love the sea!!!!!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

THE DOORS!!! I really love the sixties and the seventies. Janis Joplin, the woman I wanted to be! The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, they are just amazing in concert! They don't look like they are 70 years old at all! I also like Jazz, latin music, blues, country, electro....all sorts I guess, except for hard metal, whatever you call it, music that doesn't sound like music...

Movies: American Beauty, La Pianiste, Cabaret, Les Invasions Barbares, The Fallen Angels, A Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest etc...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- I was hitchhiking with a friend from Amsterdam to Vienna, quite a long trip that we didn't manage to finish in a day. we got trapped at one point in Germany with a Turkish truck conductor who didn't speak a word of English nor German... We had to sleep in his truck for a night before we managed to change cars the next morning on a parking lot. Two grils stuck with a strange man, now we laugh about it but it was pretty scary!
