About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Walking on all the GR and climbing the Kilimandjaro

ABOUT ME

All about me.... please take a seat, put some nice music, here it starts : Once upon a time, in a very nice village, a very nice baby with a very nice ..... Ok, I stop now.

I cannot really describe myself, that´s the job of the people around !

I would just say that people usually remember me. I´m french so I guess I´m both pretentious and arrogant... To be more precise: I´m not the kind of guy who will shut up in front of new persons.

I think I´m honnest, maybe too much.

I like to share my opinion with everybody and to discuss about everything with passionate and lively people.

I´m curious and really have the will to learn as much as I can about everything.

I really like foreign languages (no, you're not dreaming, a french guy who likes to speak something else but french !)...

Sorry if it sounds boring but if you want to know anything else, just ask !

PHILOSOPHY

Whatever happened, accept it but turn it the best for you

You can laugh about everything... just not with everybody

Hakuna matata :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and I host :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed few couches and hosted some very nice persons ! I'd be happy to host more, especially erasmus student but others are also welcome !

Interests

Everything :)

Hard to tell, I really enjoy learning new things all the time !

I'm realy interested in medicine (that's maybe why I chose to study it :) ), foreign languages as well, and basically in everything related to foreign cultures. I like sport (badminton, swmimming and catching the tramway at the moment) and I´m really interested in the content of my plate (I really like gastronomy. Nobody said that I can´t write the interests of my stomach...)
I also started to dive (last experience in Red Sea...was just awesome)
I love to travel as well and considering that, Erasmus is certainly the best period I had so far

Music, Movies, and Books

A complete list is not possible...

Let's still give it a try...if you read the sentence above... : Lion King :) More seriously, I haven't seen many films but here are some that I will remember for a while : The Pianist, Shindler's List, The Shawshank Redemption, An Education, A beautiful Mind, My sister's keeper, Chocolat, Zwartboek, Fight club, La graine et le mulet, Good morning England, Un diner de con....

Books...I like french litterature, especially theatre work (Mariveau and Beaumarchais are my favourites) and novels from 18th and 19th century (Voltaire, Hugo, Rostand, Dumas...) I want to read more from the international litterature, (unfortunately I have to learn some medicine because shakespeare can´t treat a headache...)

Music: Jazz (thelenious Monk, Keith Jarett, charlie Parker, Stan Getz....), Classical music (I play the piano, sorry or my neighbours) Soundtracks, Electronic music, Rock....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the Mont-Blanc,
Diving in Red Sea (Shark, Turtle, dolphins, Nemo :-) )
Jump and swim in a frozen lake in Finland
Erasmus in general,
Tasting (or testing, depending on the point of view) finnish food and oyster, attending an epidemiology course without falling asleep,
Walking in my university with real human arm and leg (dissection course...)
Climbing a famous bridge in Budapest and getting catch by ambulances, firemen ... and policemen

Teach, Learn, Share

as a medical student, I guess I could teach how to bring coffee to a professor, how to fill in papers....or how to suture a piece of chicken...

More seriously, I love cooking (I heard it´s weird for a man...), I know how to make a frog with a sheet of paper.
