ABOUT ME

I am 23 years old and studying psychology. I grew up in Berlin and after living in France and Poland for some time, I am back where I belong. ;)
I would consider myself as open-minded, I love discovering other cultures but I am also really fond of being home, spending time with my family and friends but also alone. I like to laugh a lot but unfortunately people often tell me that I am not very funny, at least not on purpose... Nevertheless I also do like deep discussions.
What else? I'm vegetarian and sometimes a bit more German than I would like to admit. ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my year in France I was traveling a lot and most of the time did couchsurfing and it was amazing how many cool people I've met, every single host was really nice and offered us so much more than just his couch, but also their knowledge about the region, really nice diners, nice discussions and I always felt welcome!

Interests

I'm really into CISV (It's a non-governemental organization, it's all about Building global friendship, cultural exchange, peace education - just awesome!).
Then I am really into yoga and cooking- mostly healthy, but I also have a big sweet tooth. What more? Reading, meeting people, talking, cycling or walking around...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books, but I don't have a favorite book... hmm... but I guess "Extremely loud and incredibly close" and "The Swarm" are one of my favorites.

My favorite music depends on my mood, sometimes I need rock (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and many small German groups), often I need calm relaxing music with good lyrics (Bosse, Ben Howard...), then reggae, but I like to party to Electro.

For movies it's the same, it depends on my mood. I like French movies, dramas, documentaries, romantic comedies, disney and pixar movies, ... If we watch a movie together, bring tissues, I will most likely cry you a river.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How amazingly easy it can be to live in a new country with a completely new job and a foreign language because of the people who are welcoming you as a friend!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hummm.... I can and want to learn a lot! Teach? Maybe some German dishes, French swear words and tons of stupid fun energizers!
