About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding some summer!

ABOUT ME

I just moved to LA, California this October 2013. And I would like to see as much of the area as possible while I can :-)

I love my friends and respect my family.

Spent an entire year in CO / USA as an Aupair. Best decision I could have ever made after finishing school.

Exploring the world, new cultures and meeting new people is interesting and full of surprises every single time.

I wish I could speak more languages fluently then only English and German, so please, teach me.

Concerts are fun, but sometimes the crowd of people scares me, as I am a little bit claustrophobic.

Spiders are creepy little things!

So far I can say: I don't regret any steps I have taken in the past.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with
regrets. So love the people who treat you right,
forget about the ones who don't and believe that
everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance,
take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said
that it'd be easy. They just promised it would be
worth it"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel(like everybody on this site, how cheesy...) It is a lot more fun to meet people who already live there for a while and can show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted a couple of surfers so far. Currently not having my own place so I can't host. Sorry about that.

Surfed couches in London, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Belgium and every single time was a great experience.

Interests

I read. Books mainly.
Movies are a great way to entertain yourself when bored on a rainy day (which happens a lot in Germany) or help you fall asleep :)
Dancing! Sometimes in the rain!
My friends, go out and have some drinks.
Cooking and baking - like a good girl ;) (Quite good at that, so I have been told)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: A lot. From Dramatic, over Musical/Dance, hit Mystery, touch Adventure, sweep Comedy, to Sci-Fi.
... It doesn't really matter what genre it is, main thing: It is a good one!

Music: Rock and House. A little bit of alternative and
sometimes even Hip Hop

Books: Something Else! Such a cute book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Carnival in Cologne. The streets is where you have to be. We just went outside to get some fresh air and started liking it out there better than inside. Out of nothing there was an orchestra playing and people were dancing, drinking and having a great time. And all of that while it was snowing and freezing cold!

Pillow fight in the middle of an intersection in Denver, CO.

Pulled a 2.5 inch nail out of somebody's nose. Gross!

Went to a bar on top of a parking garage overlooking London. Amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I guess I could teach you something about the German culture and about cooking and baking...

And I just want to learn about everything I am able to, like cultures and different languages.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
