Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can't always host a couch but I am happy to show you what I know of a place! London, Canterbury, Reading and Berlin would probably be the best places to ask me about! I am an insane coffee and tea drinker and I have recently am becoming a fan of beer since moving to Germany - so meeting up for a chat over any of those would be great in my book!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been to a couple of the group meetups - quite enjoyed ultimate frisbee in Treptower park!
Interests
Well, I study literature so a big topic of my would be reading. There is nothing quite like getting immersed in a book. I recently finished Haggard's 'She' actually. It's a bit archaic but worth a read!
Music is also a big thing for me, I love going to gigs and finding new things to listen to. Berlin has certainly got me into more electronic music. I also play the piano (and sing...badly).
Science fiction is another love of mine. The books, the games, the tv, films etc I've even been to a convention once or twice.
I also like to write take photos and paint (badly)

Music, Movies, and Books
Parov Stelar (and the whole electro swing sound)
Ska music in general...bit of reggae now and again too.
I like to keep fairly up to date with films too but the general brand of film that I like is pretty broad. Something thought provoking and well made, potentially with a positive message behind it (or not). I am a big fan of the Coen Brothers. And Disney films... I feel I should also mention that I think I have watched the worst film of all time. 'The Room'. It's so bad. But hilarious...
As for books, anything. Apart from extensively delving into the post-modernist discourse or ploughing my way through any space operas, I am pretty widely read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
