ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Mimmi, a happy and nice girl from Sweden. Some of my friends once told me that I'm very enthusiastic so I'm going write that here (but I think it actually depends on the situation).

Me and my friend Olivia went on an interrail trip in 2012, and that's when I got to know Couchsurfing for the first time. I had such a great time and experienced a lot of stuff that I never thought I was going to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CouchSurfing really seems like a perfect way to make friends and gives you the opportunity to get to see the world in another perspective. It's awesome!

I've tried it a few times (even if it didn't go through this CouchSurfing-site) and I've never been disappointed.

It always turns out to be the best kind of experiences, and I can't wait to get to know even more faces out there!

Interests

I'm into filmmaking so I've spent some time trying to come up with ideas for a movie. Otherwise I like to be creative in any way.

In the summer i like to go to the beach and just have fun with my friends. I like to be spontaneous and therefore it's hard to tell you exactly how I spend my time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I enjoy going to the cinema to watch new ones, and the Studio Ghibli movies will always have a place in my heart. I guess there are good parts in most of the movies. Depends on what mood i'm in.

Music: I love almost all sorts of music. My playlist changes every week. I'm a huge fan of Spotify.

Books: I don't read that much. I would have to say that Lars Kepler from Sweden writes the best books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the trip to South Africa is the most amazing thing I've done. I had so much fun on the road trip through South Africa and I want to do it all over again!

Biking in Den Haag in The Netherlands. The rain was pouring down and I've never felt so cold and soaked in my whole life, but the end station was worth every inch. The freedom I felt while watching the kitesurfers and feeling the wind from the ocean waves was, by far, the best feeling I've ever had. Such happiness, and a 'once in a lifetime' experience.

I have studied communication and public relations for three years which means that I love all aspects of it including marketing, strategic communication and even crisis communication, so if you need help in any way with your company, just let me know!

I would like to learn more about filmmaking. I want to become a director in the future and maybe I can go win an award for it.

I'm searching for all kinds of experiences. Don't hesitate to teach me more!
