Overview
About Me
Hej! In my language 'Mina' means love. My dad gave me that name, because apparently, I was smiling the first time my dad held me. And that kinda stuck with me till now. I am a smiling person and I love meeting new people! Diplomat by profession, philanthropist and foodie in my free time. I studied Political Science at the University of Copenhagen.
As a person I am reflective, creative and curious by nature. I am always ready for challenges in order to create a better version of myself. Being a philantrophist I spend most of my time volunteering as my personal vision is to see a world that works for everyone and not just a privileged few. I get sense of security and comfort from fellow human beings never missing an opportunity to impact more than myself.
Having parents from Afghanistan, being raised in Ukraine and Denmark; I hunt everywhere for a life worth living and a knowledge worth knowing. And as beautifully stated by Elif Shafak, having roots nowhere, I have everywhere to go.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the most life affirming things is meeting people and hearing their stories. I'm not into small talk. I want to hear your story. I want to know what life experiences molded you into the person that you are today - I want to discuss, be challenged and learn! Seeing human beings unfold is truly fascinating to me. So yup, that basically why I'm on here.
