Well I'm a Scottish girl that grew up in Sheffield but I've spent the past 6/7 years living in Blackpool.. a little coastal town that has big personality.
Been a painter and decorator most my life working in the family business but for the past 6 years I've worked in the marketing and events industry and been involved with lots of cool events from catering shows to street art festivals, my latest role was marketing manager at a shopping centre... way more fun than it sounds I promise.
In my spare time I like to go to gallerys and art events, I love getting involved with anything to do with the arts and like to be creative myself occasionally.
So last year I realised that I'm not getting any younger and I should probably get out and see the world while I still can, traveling is all pretty new to me so it seemed like the most sensible place to start would be Austrailia and so far I'm loving it!
I'm currently traveling down the East coast of Australia making my way to Sydney and hoping to meet some cool people along the way with local knowledge that can get me away from the tourist side of life, I've started with a few tours to get me going but now I want to see more of the real Austrailia.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I want to couchsurf to get the best experience out of my travel adventure, staying in hostels is nice but you only meet other travellers that are in the same boat as yourself so I would love to be able to escape that for a while.

Interesses

Because I like street art I find that I end up at quirky little festivals and get out searching the streets for hidden piece of art work around towns quite a lot but I also like to be out in nature so anywhere with trees hills and country side also takes my fancy.
