The real value of life is experience, not material things. One of the best ways to gain experience is through travelling. And when you gain the right amount of experience - you level-up ;)

ABOUT ME

A little bit shy at first, but very communicative afterwards. I love to chat with people, I love a good sense of humour, I love to laugh and make other people laugh. I love to get a beer with people, speak about everything, from cooking to politics. Open-minded. Recently I picked up the passion for travelling, I find the people who do it are really the most interesting people I have met.

I am friendly, a good listener. My hobbies are cooking, sports, computer games, hiking, animal spotting, being in nature, camping. But the clearest of them all is travelling. It brings real happiness to my life.

Now I am happily married and my wife and I share the same passion for travelling. So this is what we are doing now - we have quit everything and are travelling the world.

PHILOSOPHY

After my first big travel experience my view on life changed a lot. Before I was a standard person - school>university>good job>career>house>family>material things that make your life easy>death.
After my travelling in South-east Asia I have learned that material things are nothing. You will not take them with you after death. Life is short, true happiness comes from happy people, experience. You have to LIVE your life and not only participate in it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am couchsurfing because I do think this is the best way to actually meet the real people in the countries you visit. It is a great way to get to know about the country more, not just from google, or from the media. It is a great way to find rare and beautiful places that only a local can show you. It is also a great way to socialize, share your experience and gain new one.

I do not always go with couchsurfing, as I feel that you are responsible for being social all the time. Thus, when I need my space and quiet I will get a hostel, but when I feel that I want to share my energy and meet great people - I will use couchsurfing.

Interessi

Sports, nature, forests, lakes, sea, writing poems, writing jokes, communicating, live beer, pubs, architecture, medieval times, swords, knights, history, stand up comedy, rock music, hip hop, camping, hiking.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

2 months of camping in the US - national parks and wilderness. Saw a bunch of animals, like grizzlies, black bear, coyotes, whales, prey birds and more. Have driven around 12000 kilometres to do that. It was the best wild experience in my life.
