ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing and adventurous person. In my normal life in Shanghai, I work very hard as a musician and a teacher but on weekends I like to see the city and meet friends. I'm very social, and I really enjoy meeting new people and keeping good contact with my friends. I have a good sense of humor, and pretty much find the comedy in most life situations these days, which really comes in handy living in China!

Interests

Well I am musician by profession, so I guess I am lucky that my hobby and passion became my job. Other than music, I am crazy about the ocean. I lived in Hawaii for a long time, and also worked as a musician on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, so diving, snorkeling, surfing... everything to do with the ocean is in my blood. I also love bike riding and other sporty things. Living in Shanghai has taught me a different side of life as well. Here we have great restaurants and clubs, and I always enjoy finding a great vibe at a hip place, or for that matter a little hole in the wall serving dumplings!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This last Christmas I went sky diving for the first time on a visit back to Hawaii. It's something I have always wanted to do, so I went for it and I can't wait to do it again! I think another top of the list was swimming with wild dolphins for the first time when I first moved to Hawaii. That was a beautiful moment.
