About Me
Hello everyone! I just came back to Turkey after 3 years of my backpacking adventure. I quit my job in 2019, started travelling in South East Asia for 6 months, then moved to New Zealand temporarily which turns out to be my past 2.5 years. I moved around in New Zealand and did millions of different jobs. :D
So eventually I felt like I have to be rooted somewhere and wanted to go back to my home country. Happy to be back after long long time. My house is not available at the moment to host someone but I would be happy to meet travellers visiting Istanbul and share and talk and walk around.
I like laughing, silly talks but also deep conversations. I am so into psychology, stop me if I keep talking about it. :D 1 thing I am struggling to handle; loooong monologues. If you like to talk a loooot and listen so lessss sorry I am not your person. I wanna scream in these kind of situations and run away.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Without CS my story would be different. A lot of people I have met through CS contributed my life a lot. I have a lot of close friends around the world whom I met here and still in contact.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite books are The Collector, John Fowles and The Book Thief, Markus Zusak. John Steinbeck, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and İhsan Oktay Anar are the writers I admire a lot.
It is hard to tell my favourite music. There are a lot. Nowadays, my favourite is "Yo en la prizion" from Yasmin Levy.
The songs I never get bored to listen and impress me all the time;
Snowmine - Nervous
Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
Mohsen Namjoo - Zolf
Erkin Koray - Sanma
Also I like listening Turkish alternative songs which many Turkish people don't know that such songs exist. I wonder whether foreign people can like those songs that I am addicted. I can test it on you. :)
My favourite movie might be "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" which is an Indian movie. I watched it in India in cinema hall without any subtitle. And I can't forget how it impressed me at that time. Indian people's different reactions to different scenes also made it unforgettable.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being part of social responsibility projects in India and Nepal for children's education.
Being sunrise and sunset tour guide in World Heritage Site Bagan, Myanmar
Attending a kawa ceremony in Fiji
