Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
I am getting ready for working a ski season in Taos, New Mexico from November 2018 thru April 2019 and a USA road trip back and forth from my home in Rochester, NY on my way to and from Taos.
ABOUT ME
I love being a both a tourist and a traveler, being outdoors (hiking or skiing) and trying something new. I am an artist and a geologist. Right now I work summers in construction materials and winters at ski resorts.
When I travel, I usually like to stay in a place for at least a month or more, so that I can do all the tourist sites, but also have time to soak in what the place is about.
I always have a book on me. I have a very cynical sense of humor.
I am a very hard worker and take seriously any tasks that are put my way, however I do not let my job take over my life. I work and play equally hard, and usually travel during vacations and between jobs for extended periods of time (approx. 9 months between each job is ideal for me). I am an artist as well, though maybe not so seriously :) I am drawing or painting or working on a collage nearly every night after work. I love good output. PHILOSOPHY
If its important enough to you, you will make it happen. If its not, you will make an excuse.

Musica, film e libri
Music: LIVE, folk, classic, rock, jams, jazz, alternative, some metal, some hip hop, some electronic.
Books: oh, most of them! Love to read, all the time. Fiction at the forefront, but I've always got at least 3 books (including non-fiction or current event) going at once to keep it fresh. I carry a book with me always in case of waiting or stress. I read before I get out of bed, and before I sleep. I hope someday to write a book fiction book myself.
I don't watch too many movies, but I prefer documentaries or indie films. I am the worst person to talk about films with because I know nothing - but that doesn't stop me from enjoying them.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
I got sucked into a sort of hippie/music commune for disabled young adults in Burkina Faso for a couple days.
Insegna, impara, condividi
Learn by teaching, teach by sharing.
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
I am happy to share a drawing or sketch from my notebook, or any other skill they could learn from me. I have been a ski instructor before so if the conditions are right I can teach a lesson. Honestly, anything else we can come up with is fair game! I'm a decent cook and can share food too.
