I am a biology student at Imperial College London, so I will stay in London until the end of my degree but Kunming, China is where I was born. Also, I lived in Shenzhen for a three-year high school time, it is a nice place with lots of nice food and people around.

I am a birder and a photographer as well. I know most of birds in Kunming and London and I am very welcome to find more birders and learn more about birds in their home countries. I like to chat with people, hearing different stories of them. I also like to take photos of all kinds and edit them later, and I am still learning photoediting skills at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to visit different places and make friends with people from various background and culture. I knew couchsurfing from a friend who enjoys travelling to different countries. I believe staying and talking to a local is way better to get to know a city than simply joining a group or staying in a hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tube Challenge. In the summer of 2015, I did a tube challenge with my British friend who is a big fan and an expert of London transport. The aim of the challenge is to visit every single tube station in London, which is actually a pretty hard task because it needs not only persistency but also excellent planning skills.

On the day of Tube challenge, we managed to visit 270 stations in 18h29min, which covered more than 400km. We transferred lines 54 times and ran for 13km in total (Yesss)
