ABOUT ME

I grew up in a really pretty suburb in Connecticut with a family of immigrants from Vietnam. Three years ago, I moved to Massachusetts to study at Tufts University and have been living in Madrid since August on a study abroad program.

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live. I really think that the world would be a lot better if there were a lot less regulations on how people live, and if people just let others do what they want to do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I cannot host anyone because I live with a host family. But I would love to meet anyone around Madrid for coffee or drinks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never Couchsurfed before, but am super excited to try it.

I love to travel, especially alone because I love to meet new people and explore new areas.
I also love to learn really random statistics about countries. I spend way to much time on wikipedia memorizing random facts haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to feed and ride an elephant in a reserve in Chiang Mai, Thailand. it was amazing to see how much they eat and how powerful they are.

Teach, Learn, Share

In Myanmar, a common cosmetic on women and children is called Thanaka. It's usually applied in circles on the cheeks, and is (I would guess) the western equivalent to lip stick. And it helps prevent sun burn and tanning!
