Overview
About Me
I am a free-spirited wanderer following my dreams and passions in an absurd world. By fully living every moment of my life, I wish to inspire others to do the same. Realizing that the most valuable elements of life are the experiences that we live and share, I made the decision to primarily focus on what is important to me while letting go of the rest. I advocate the importance of knowing and differentiating activities that we "need to do", "want to do", and "love to do" in order to focus our attention on the right experiences. As a wise man once said: "Energy flows where attention goes." Focus allows for effective living.
I love dancing, travelling, and demystifying the vast world of tea. In order to dedicate most of my resources to my passions, I do not have a fix home, I do not own a car, and I cut down my material possessions to the bare minimum.
More recently, my wandering has lead me to work at the Chisasibi Hospital (53.7833N,78,8958W) where I thrive to improve work processes and work environment for the benefit of the pharmacy staff, healthcare professionals, and, most importantly, patients. I strongly believe that new technologies and social influences can positively impact community and individual health and healthcare as a whole. As I set out on this new journey, I am exploring and embracing my new found aspiration: "Freedom with a purpose."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to meet people from different walks of life to share in our differences and similarities. I crave mind expanding conversations with people who went through life in an entirely different way than I have. When travelling, I wish to immerse myself in the culture and lifestyle of the countries that I am visiting. I wish to build around me a web of friendship that spans the globe. Each interaction changes us. When sharing ideas and world views, all parties involved walks away a grown person.
Interests
I love dancing, travelling, and demystifying the vast world of tea. More recently, I have been nurturing an interest for scotch, wine, coffee, and chocolate. I enjoy spending my time sipping delicious beverages with friends while discussing the multiple perspectives and interpretations to a singular occurrence. I desire to discover and understand the framework and beliefs of the different cultures of our world in order to enrich my perspective of our shared realities.
