About Me

Hi. My name is Rock. I'm 32 years old in Korea, and 31 years old in other country. I'm just typical Korean guy. I try to have open mind and easy going state of mind.

I love traveling, but now i'm just stuck in the company like other Korean guys. I love meeting new people especially who are modest, friendly and thoughtful. I hope you are interested in korea, find something fun in my country and willing to understand its own culture.

Couch NO. 1
First couch is in Incheon city. If you wanna do something in Incheon-city, you can try my place. I live with my wife and 1-year-old adorable son, so if you wanna stay in my couch you'd better be prepared to have fun with him. He speaks his own language, so it's difficult to communicate with him, but he's friendly. I am sure you're gonna have a good time with him, if you like babies. Cuz at weekdays only my wife and son are home. So it's not available for traveler. You can only enjoy my place from Friday night to Sunday and I might be able to show you around. But basically, It's not easy for me to give you a good care, cuz I'm a pretty busy caring my own son. I hope you understand this.
We've got a spare room, but it's being used for a dress room. Packed with furnitures. So I recommend to use my couch. It's in the living room and transformable to bed!! When I buy it, I meant it! 2 people can have enough space to lay down.
My house is near the Art Center Station ( Incheon line 1). It takes 1 hour and half to get to Seoul, so if you wanna go to visit Seoul my place is a poor choice. Art Centre is the busies part of Incheon, so you may try night life in Incheon if you want.

Couch NO.2
In Itaewon, Seoul. Sounds perfect! but it's actually not. I live in this one during the weekdays, so it's small. There's no spare room. You either share a room with me or can use kitchen area. There's no wifi. You can't cook. Oh, you can use my washing machine though. This place is just sleep for me. It's 3 minutes from Itaewon station, so pretty good transportation. I go to work at 8:00 and come home at 8:00. So you can take your own time in my place. Because of my work, I may not be able to give you a Itaewon tour. If you still needs to place to stay, even a small place, try my second couch.

This is about me. If you are interested in staying in my place please start you letter with greetings from. Or i wouldn't read the msg. Oh, one more thing. You have to be able to communicate in english. I'm not running free BNB. I would like to hear your story. Thanks! Looking forward to see you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There is no reason not to do CS for travellers. The best thing in travel is to meet nice people and to be their friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I try to find couch wherever I go. I surfed through African continent and 5 different states of America. To be honest, it wasn't always perfect and great. Some host wasn't there when I get their place(I texted her several times, and called her, we arranged the date and time.), someone rejected me when I belled the door.(She said it's too late, and it was 7 pm. I had to come back to town and find hostel to stay)
Most of cases it was beautiful. I believe if we care and try to understand each other nothing can harm this beautiful chance even though they are not like us. Yes we're different. We're from all different nation, culture, and we speak different language. We have to be ready for this before we say 'YES'
