About Me
Hi everyone !
This is Minji from South Korea. I'm a college student who studies chemistry.
Last semester, I had a great great time as an exchange student in Germany. It changed me a lot in many ways. For example, I became open minded, and depth of thinking gets deeper.
And one of the most brilliant things I've got last semester is, I fell in love with traveling! The more I experience and explore, I feel like depth and width of my heart and brain get bigger and bigger. It makes me mature. More than sight seeing, experiencing their own culture is valuable. Two or more different cultures would be mixed up together, and then there might be some unique and valuable memories engraved in our mind. I believe so. Hope the days we'll spend together can affect on us and even change us in positive way.😊
I also love to drink beer or traditional drinks of the province where I travel.
And I don't smoke.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've stayed with foreign friends. We spent every Sunday together with exchanging not only food but culture. It was very interesting time and what I most miss. Through the days, I realized that there are so many different kinds of cultural things. They may be strange for strangers but if we experience and understand the culture, it would fertile ourselves in a way of being international. I want to feel the life and culture of locals. I believe that I can feel the country or a city way better through couchsurfing . I would be glad if I can be soaked into the different culture.

So far, travel alone to Italy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook Korean foods if you want. I'm quite good at it, and it is proved by some foreign friends of mine. ;)
I like learning cooking or difference between your culture and mine.
I would be happy if I can learn few words or expressions in foreign language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I was in Germany as an exchange student, we made international picnic every Sunday. We made typical dishes of ourselves' country and shared them together.
I can introduce you Korean traditional or typical dish. I'll do my best. If you can, introduce yours to me as well. It would be a great interchange. :D
