Oh travel! So many places to see, so many people to meet! Africa and more of South America are next on my agenda.

I work for a small inclusive charity with young people. It's a NFP for disabled and non-diasbled teens and adults, some in care, young carers, victims of crime or from disadvantaged backgrounds. We fundraise to put on activities for them during all school holidays.
I really love my job and I will probably always work with young people or in the charity sector.

Outside of work, I love long walks, delish food/pubs, festivals, art adventure and reading. I have always enjoyed being creative too.

I join most political / environmental / human rights marches and protests so I would say I am pretty globally conscious

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What better way to be immersed in a new place than by staying with a local?! Couchsurfing is a beautiful idea.

I love meeting new people and I always travel solo as I find that this is the best way of having all sorts of experiences that you never would as a couple or a group. You also learn so much along the way about your own resilience and about being in your own company.

Currently tripping the States! I am really buzzed about joining the CS community!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in an animal sanctuary in Ecuador we had to take the wild cats for daily walks for exercise. Just casually walking a Puma!! That was pretty amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I find meditation really good for my mood and mental health. I also enjoy (although I'm not particularly good at it) yoga. We could meditate together?!

I can share a fair few amusing travelling stories, funny anecdotes about Brits, and my love of (and a finely tuned ear) accents.

I can also teach you to cook. Mainly veggie food although I also make some great marinades and do eat meat.

I'm always open to new and refreshing viewpoints, and I am happy to share what little I know!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I LOVE cooking and hosting people. I would love to come and stay with you and cook for you. I cook all sorts of food and love eating with people.

Laughing is such a tonic and I aim to have a good belly laugh at least once a day. Sitting around with a bottle of wine and nibbles and good conversation is my favourite. I enjoy hearing all accents, and learning about people from different places. I can be quite silly with a pretty blue sense of humour and a sense of the ridiculous.

I would love to go for a walk with you or a drink, show me your fave drinking hole, a lovely coffee shop, or nice green park. Equally if you wish to keep to yourself, I can go and explore happily on my own.
