ABOUT ME

I'm Minna, 23 years old, from Roskilde, Denmark, and currently living in Copenhagen. I'm studying Geography and Communication at Roskilde University and working at an institution for mentally disable people.

I love to meet new people and cultures which are different from my own because it often makes my horizon broader and gives me new points of view. I would like to think that I'm an easygoing laid back person, who likes to have fun.

After I graduated High School in 2010 I had two years off to travel and enjoy myself. I went to the United States for a couple of months. I then went to Melbourne, Australia, to study English and travel up the East Coast. Last year, I was studying abroad for one semester in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Currently, Im backpacking around China and Hong Kong for a month with my friend Fie.

PHILOSOPHY

Be spontaneous and do not expect too much, then you have the most fun.

As long as someone does something that doesn't hurt others, it's his own business.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to catch up for a drink or show around Copenhagen. However, I don't have the opportunity to host at the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experiences started two years ago, when I was on road trip around the United States. I have also surfed a couple of times in Australia and attended the CS meetings in Melbourne a few times. I've had nothing but great experiences and I'm looking forward to experience more!

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet people from around the world. Further, I'm very interested in other cultures (and want to study Cultural Geography for my further studies after finishing my bachelor of Social Science) and I think couch surfing is a fantastic opportunity to meet other cultures and see a country from the inside and not just the touristy side.

I have hosted three times and one time I had the pleasure to host my own host from Australia. Every time I have hosted has been a pleasure and I'm looking forward to host again. Unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to host at the moment.

Exercising(mostly running and swimming), other cultures, to be creative, good beer and most of all hanging out with friends.

音乐、电影和书籍

Watching movies is not my big passion. However, Avatar, Mysterious Skin and Pirates of the Caribbean are some of the movies I like.
When it comes to books I mostly read non-fiction, as I'm mainly only reading when I'm studying.
I listen to all kinds of music; rock, reggae, jazz, alternative, pop, dance, RnB etc. Just depends on my mood and the atmosphere. However, if I should mention a few artists I really like it would be Bob Marley, Coldplay, Rihanna and The Streets.
