About Me

When I feel at ease, I AM sociable, talkative and funny, I really enjoy people. I am honest and trustful.

I LOVE to travel, but also to host people and take care of them: I like to think that, when I have no money for travels, I can let travels pass by my house and my life: travelers with their stories, their good energy and the dust of faraway lands on their backpack.
I love to discover different ways of thinking and acting: I believe that the future of this world relies on those people who meet the diversity with curious eyes and an open mind.

I BELIEVE that awareness is the best armour and the best weapon at the same time. I like sincere people: nobody should deny you the basic right to know the truth.
I look up to those people who take always a chance and keep the regrets away, like Fiddler Jones of the Spoon River Anthology by E. Lee Masters: "I ended up with forty acres / I ended up with a broken fiddle / and a broken laugh / and a thousand memories / and not a single regret".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll say two:

1) Being a king of Goblins in a bathrobe-suit during four summers in a funny and crazy fantasy theatre play. The spectators had to cycle for 4,5 Kms in a precious natural park ("La Mandria", near Torino, Italy), meeting goblins and elves along the road.

2) The Sweat Hut: a purification ritual of the ancient Italics (before the Roman Empire) who lived on the Alpi Apuane (Tuscany). A hut. A huge fire outside. Stones are heated to nearly 200ºC and brought into the hut. A shaman throws water on them. A thick and very hot vapor fills the hut. People sit inside, sweat and sing until they can stand the temperature. Then go out and dip into the river.

Teach, Learn, Share

SHARE: I always share a lot of stuffs: music and movies, good conversations, stories...
If you like to play and/or sing, we can definitely do it together!

TEACH: If you want to learn or improve your Italian or Spanish, I can teach you. I could also teach you some guitar.

LEARN: I am sooo fascinated by languages, especially the asian! I am currently studying Japanese, Chinese and Arabic: CS is a good opportunity for me to practise and improve these skills... and maybe to get some more!
