About Me
A simple guy who enjoys having nice and interesting talks while drinking some beers, walking or doing whatever that takes me out of my job routine. Having lived in Floripa (Brazil) showed me how much nature and an active life style delight me, something I didn't have back in São Paulo.
I like parties, cinema, making jokes and having fun whenever I can..
Having been to different countries and lived several years in shared houses and apartments let me know so many types of people, and that taught me to always take something good and share something from me whenever I meet any new person.
I used to make big efforts to get always the best I could at study and work. Nowadays, I've realized that there is too much in life beyond work and study so I wake up every day thinking how I can do more things that bring happiness and new experiences to my life. That is why I once quit my job and started a 6-month trip around the Pacific in 2015. And it was absolutely worth it !
Currently I´m enjoying German spring :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have hosted some people and I participate of the CS experience hanging out with visitors and taking part of many CS activities in Brazil. I used to take part of the weekly meetings when I lived in Floripa.
So far, the Couchsurfing experience has been one of the most amazing and valuable things I got in Brazil. It allowed me to know tons of persons and life histories so different that I'd have never been able to know by myself. That has brought new perspective and plans to my life, and it's also helping me to figure out the next steps I'm willing to take in my professional and personal paths.
Interests
I work sitting in front of a computer 8 hours per day, so the last thing I want to do when I have free time is staying at home in front of the TV or something similar ..
That's why I love sports, hiking, surfing, dancing, party, chatting, spending time at beach, parks and whatever that allows me to meet people and enjoy the life while doing so ..
When I get tired of doing those things, I prefer to read a nice book or just to sleep ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Made a 2-weeks trip around the US East Coast looking for academic opportunities by myself. It taught me so much about how I deal with unknown situation and difficulties in a completely new place to me. It was such a great experience that I plan to take it up to a longer adventure in the future.
UPDATE: An amazing 6-month Pacific Ocean round trip
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share how my experiences of living in different countries and learning different languages have been so far .. With one decade in Brazil since I left Colombia, I guess I have many stories to tell about.
