I am Mirthe and I’m a 24-years-old girl living in the Netherlands. I studied dramatherapy at a university of applied sciences and now I'm working at a circustheater for children with special needs. I love theatre, dancing and singing! I eat a lot and with that I mean: a LOT. I like being out in the nature and to go exploring. By travelling and inviting people into my home I love to learn more about other cultures and people all over the world to expand my view. I am spontaneous and very active. My favorite color is green and I’m a bit obsessed with this color.

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to get to know people from all over the world. As I sad above: by travelling I love to learn more about other cultures and people all over the world to expand my view. I want to get to know other cultures, how that influences the thoughts and behaviors of people and learn from it for myself.

There is no better way to get to know a new country and culture than to stay with locals.

I love music from Passenger, Maria Mena, Mahalia, Mumford and sons, Dotan, Alex Vargas and Lianna La Havas. I really enjoy going to concerts, so I have seen quite a few already.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quad-driving and ziplining through the jungle of Suriname!
Okay more than one..
I did an awesome heli-hike on the Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand, hiked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, had my first rafting experience near Christchurch and did the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal!
