Hello Couchsurfers!

My name is Mio from Japan, but live now in Berlin, Germany :)
I was born and grew up on an island (Sado, Niigata Prefecture) and studied in Tokyo. I knew just my country until I was I 26 years old. But I decided to study art again in Germany and I got the first passport in my life. Now I'm still studying, but I try to save money and travel in different countries to meet people and know the culture.

Until now I just registered Couchsurfing and have not used, because of my tight schedules of trips it was not possible to use. (That's why my review is not so good... : / ) But from the next time I'd like to trip relaxed, meet local people and know how they live what sightseeing business doesn't show.

Now I'm living in a small room of a flat from a friend in Berlin, so It's a little difficult to accept guests, but if I go back to my home town, every guest is welcome. My family has a big traditional farmer's house :) Before industrialization and modernization Japan was just a country of farmers and fishers.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As I wrote already, I'm interested in real life of local people. If I visited only famous sightseeing spots or stay in beautiful hotels, it's not real. It's just what sightseeing industries produced. I'd like to meet real people and know real life. And that's possible though communicate and sharing time, space and experiences!

兴趣

I really really interested in local cultures and identities in each area of this world. It's my respect for other people and cultures to know them directly and communicate with them :)
