I am currently a freelance translator. I like to travel and explore new places, meet people, discuss politics, history, and serious stuff like that, but also to have a drink or two in the meantime. In my free time I'm a news junkie and dabble as a blogger and an occasional columnist for Hungarian sites.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I lived in Israel, the UK, the US, Russia, and Ukraine. I almost drowned in the Mediterranean. I did scuba diving in the Red Sea and floated on the Dead Sea. I saw the stars from Bedouin tent in the Negev desert, while listening to the snort of camels. I went to grad school in a 17th-century manor house, while living in an apartment overlooking a 12th-century church. Went on a road trip to the American Southwest. I did research in the Ukrainian KGB archive.
